Warpportal.com, a website operated by Gravity Interactive, Inc. (Gravity US) has secretly censored the word "Tree of Savior" and the acronym "TOS" in the forum. The word filter built into the website will automatically filter “Tree of Savior” as “Ragnarok Online” and “TOS” as “Ragnarok Online 2”.

Don't see how it'll really help. They should be 'upgrading' the games they're managing instead of censoring others. Furthermore, there's so many ways to bypass the filters. Filtering was never a good move unless one has total monopoly (the only source) of the said information. (Like in the old days when dissemination of information has only llimited options.)

We noticed a couple of months ago. Furthermore, if you mention that the censor even exists, the WHOLE THREAD gets nuked.
If you go to the RO2 forum and see someune in the user group "Members - No Sig", be sure it's because of Tree of Savior.
Even more funny is that if you look at the forum rules

There are four or so clauses that prevent against the ToS thing.

Anyways, I must be thankful to this censor, if it weren't in place, it wouldn't have escalated so much and I wouldn't have been curious enough to look into ToS.

Actually, one of the most common comments when games or the state of the game are mentioned in the public chat of RO2 is from people claiming to be playing it just while they wait for ToS to come out.

XD i think that Warpportal's reaction is kind of dumb... wasn't IMC actually searching for an US publisher? aren't they just shooting themselves in the foot by fighting them?

Well, business is business. If people posted ToS on Gravity's forums, and it caught on RO would lose most of its player-base to Tree of Savior, so it's a smart movie. I do question who made the decision though.

Warpportal.com is owned by Gravity Interactive (let's name it Gravity US for discussion sake), a company licensed to publish Ragnarok Online in US. I find it hard to believe that Gravity Korea will allow Gravity US to become a publisher for Tree of Savior. 

I understand it is a business decision, but it is badly executed. The side effect will be massive.

more exposure to TOS then, i think what they're doing just making people more interested about it... than making it goes away.

it's better just make an official announcement not to discussed "non" gravity games, in a gravity games forum.
