Changes for new registered users

Dear members,

As the recent wave of spam continued, the staff decided that new users will need to fill the following requirements to open their own threads and be a full member:

1. Have 24 hours registered on the forum. 
2. A minimum of 8 posts to open their own threads. 
   

This change will apply to all forums except for Introduce Yourself. We will be monitoring this forum very close. Also posts in our popular Forum Games sub-forum will not count towards the posts needed to be a full member.

We may review these requirements and make adjustments when necessary as it's our goal to ensure that our restrictions are fair. Hope this solve or lower the current problem. And again sorry for the inconvenience.

Oh, this is a neat change! I'm sure people will understand. I administer a Forum myself and those Bots are just a pain in the a**.

  please read again, you will be able to post introduction threads right away, but no threads on any other forum until you have met the requirements. I did my first posts on my introduction too haha.

Actually as post they can do it anywhere, but it is easier for us to clean posts and threads on a single forum. The wave of spam usually opened many threads on different forums and there is the hard part when it comes to stop them.
