With the class progression in here, we have an option to stay (and upgrade current and new skills) or to advance to a new class.
I've been thinking about these :
- Specialization : Being a full-circled class gives us a stronger version of the skills which should be on par with the next rank skills..
- Exclusive Skills : Aiming for certain skill can also mean being a full-circled class..
- Cooldown : Stronger skills with long cooldowns VS more skills for spamming..
- MP : More skills needs more SP..Is this going to be a problem..? I still don't know about the price for those potions..
- Hidden Class : I guess if this is the aim, then the class advancement needs to be right..?
- Costumes : More classes means more costumes~ This is important for some (including me)~
Are there any other considerations..?
How about you..? Do you have any thought about it..?
(Added Skill Combination, Role-Playing, Strengthening Current Skill for more considerations after some input)

amongst the base classes its the wizard that gains the most number of skills, also wizard tree has alot of skill to spams so its either high damage or spam multiple skills build from multiple classes if not support wiz.
swordie has multiple weapon requirement hence staying as swordie just to get the basic buff full level up seems more viable than to progress to skills that may not be of use for higher circles of your preffered class
archers...i dont see any issue
while clerics is sky is the limit almost works with them

It's one of the aspects of the game that will make it so great when it comes over here but I think with anything, there needs to be a mix and trade.
There are clear benefits to having an FC'd class but it's also incumbent not to undermine the possibilities of having more skills, attacks, and passives. I think a fair mix with given aim and good stat distribution is what matters most, Ie, I plan on sticking Swordie for 1 circle, then going Highlander for 2 to get an improved multi-slash skill as well as an improved knockback, then going Rodelero for the powerful slash attack, shield rush, and added shield skills - A Rodelero that can multi-slash, knockback, and charge into people.
The combinations after that are just the beginning.

its the swordies who are going to have alot of problems

I can understand your worries for the swordie..
I guess Role-Playing will be my consideration after all hehehe..
I was also thinking of a theme like "all holy" / "all nature" / "all ice"-oriented skills..

They do, but there's nothing that specifies, (from what I've seen), that Highlander's attacks are specific to 2handed swords and can't be used by other weapons.

They're going to implement a feature where you can toggle multiple weapons with a hotkey in the next CBT.
Either way, it sounds very tedious.
